This is important, particularly for a subject similar to art, so the reader can start to develop their own evaluation of the subject without struggling through many different styles of analysis. While I even have listed specific areas that need enchancment, I am thrilled that this book exists as an accessible, free, and user-friendly useful resource Art & Media for students and instructors. Its shortcomings are far less than different texts I’ve used, and its virtues are quite a few, particularly given the flexibility to make immediate improvements utilizing the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.
